Join Allie and Sam as they share their personal journey to growing their family as a queer couple. In this heartfelt webinar, they’ll discuss their experience navigating fertility treatments and IVF, the highs and lows along the way, and the vital role that supportive care providers and doulas played throughout their journey. They’ll also explore how doulas can better support LGBTQ+ families through inclusive, affirming care. The session will conclude with a live Q&A for attendees to ask questions and connect.

About the presenters: Allie and Sam
Allie and Sam are a two-mom family in Nova Scotia, raising twins alongside their very full house of pets (three dogs, two cats, and plenty of chaos). After building their family through reciprocal IVF, they began sharing their story online as @allieandsam, hoping to make queer family building feel more visible, relatable, and supported. This webinar is free to members and alumni of Doula School, Discover Birth, and The Nesting Place and is $35 for external participants. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance that can be used as 1 CEU (continuing education units) at Doula School.
