This Lunch and Learn session provides practical, evidence informed guidance to help doulas confidently support families of multiples while remaining grounded in their professional scope of practice.

Join Andrea Paul for a practical and engaging discussion exploring the unique needs of families with multiples, including feeding, sleep, soothing, caring for premature infants, and simple strategies that help reduce overwhelm and support the transition into life with more than one baby.

In this one hour session, we will discuss:

• Unique considerations when supporting families with multiples
• Practical approaches to infant feeding, including nursing, bottle feeding, and combination feeding within the doula scope of practice
• Supporting healthy infant sleep and realistic expectations for multiple newborns
• Soothing techniques and settling strategies for caring for two or more babies
• Caring for premature infants and understanding common developmental considerations
• Practical tips for organizing care, supporting parental rest, and creating sustainable routines

This session is designed to give doulas practical tools, realistic expectations, and greater confidence in supporting families as they navigate the rewarding and often demanding experience of welcoming multiples.
