Reproductive Herbalism I ONLINE I October 3rd START DATE

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1624844275611{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Doula Canada offers you a comprehensive introduction to reproductive herbalism – menstruation to menopause!

This course will help you grow in your general awareness of safe use of herbalism and allow you to expand your knowledge.  Note: this is not a certification but an introductory training.  All herbal discussions look at the materia medica of herbs and have foundations in research or traditional herbal usage.  At this time herbalism is not a regulated profession in Canada but we encourage all persons taking this course to consider certifying as a medical herbalist at some point in time.

The knowledge from this training will position you to offer guidance through discussion with your clients. It does not position you to suggest herbal remedies as an alternative to standard medicine, prescribe oral herbal therapies, or makes recommendations to address medical concerns.

The goal of this course is first and foremost to help you understand how herbs have been historically used for reproductive health, the various ways of preparing herbs, and the concerns that can be safely discussed in conjunction with herbal use and referrals to community practitioners.

Much of the knowledge gained in this course can also apply to your personal experiences as the foundation of this course applies to healthy reproductive options for persons and their various reproductive stages.

Included in this course are handouts and materials you can share with your personal clients.
