Infant Massage training for Doulas

Online and self-paced workshop.

This infant massage training course is designed to give you the information you need, as a doula, to understand the principles around infant massage and how to do it. This course will give you the knowledge and the routine to massage a baby while you support a family in the postpartum period. This will give you the knowledge to offer tips and demonstrations to parents about infant massage.

What to expect in class?

This course is a self-directed course that you will follow along at your own pace. In total there are six modules that cover various aspects of infant massage for each part of the body. The course will cover both the theory of “why” and “how” to massage each part, but also show you how to do it.

This course is designed for you as a doula to show you how to do infant massage yourself. While it doesn’t qualify you to teach it to others, you are absolutely welcome to show your valuable skills to parents as they watch you perform it for their baby’s benefit. Of course they will learn alongside your demonstration.

This course qualifies for 2 CEUs (continuing education units) with Doula School Canada.
