Twenty-five years.

It’s hard to put into words what this milestone means.

What started as a small idea — creating truly evidence-informed doula education — has grown into a thriving community of more than 7,500 passionate birthworkers supporting families around the world every day.

Over the years, our name has evolved. We began as Healing Arts Learning Organization (the original owners starting in 2001), became Doula Training Canada, and are now proud to be part of Doula School International.

While our name has changed, our mission has remained the same:

To educate, empower, and support exceptional doulas.

How the 25% Sale Works

Ok we know 25% off sounds great, but you’re probably thinking what’s the catch. It only applies to certain trainings, or only online-courses, or only continuing education.

Nope, there is no catch. You don’t have to enter a specific promo code, or use a special link. You just need to add it to your cart and the discount will be automatically applied.

It’s 25% off site wide (from August 1-7). If you want to sign up for an in-person training we have coming up in 2026-27, the sale applies. Or if you want to take a quick TENS training to improve your existing doula skills, you save 25%.

Julia is a doula, childbirth educator, and advocate with over 20 years of experience in yoga, doula work, and perinatal wellness. She is co-Director of Doula School Canada and co-creator of the Sacred Birth Yoga and Doula Training, which blends yoga’s transformative potential with trauma-informed birth support. Her heart-led, evidence-based approach helps families navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with confidence, presence, and trust in the body’s innate wisdom.
