Every day, people are judged by their size. Fat people, in particular, face assumptions about our lives, health, and worth: this includes when we’re trying to conceive, pregnant, or giving birth.
In this workshop, led by Anna Penner (DTC Inclusion & Engagement Lead), participants will:
- Learn more about sizeism and fatphobia, and how they can impact clients’ wellbeing.
- Review different social approaches to body size, including body positivity, health at every size (HAES), and fat positivity.
- Explore strategies for providing size inclusive support.
Webinar will be hosted via Zoom with closed captioning & recorded for playback.
